As a “sign” of the times, there is now a movement to create a solar powered Hollywood sign
Anyone who comes to Los Angeles will look up at the famous sign that has been in the same location for nearly 90 years.
There is a movement now to create a solar powered Hollywood sign. The letters spelling out the word would not be replaced as they were in 1978, but solar panels would be added to the landmark to raise awareness about solar power energy.
